Thanksgiving Dinner

Since 2009 the Litchfield Sportsmen's Club has hosted public Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day.

Doors open at noon and we sit down to eat at 1pm.   There is no charge for dinner, however attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert.

Turkey, potatoes, gravy and beverages are provided.  The remainder of the meal is made up of side dishes and desserts provided by the attendees.

You do not need to RSVP and there is no sign up for food. Just show up with your favorite Thanksgiving dish/dessert with you. If we wind up with 42 green bean casseroles then we’ll laugh and eat them. No one goes hungry and we all have a great time.

Singles, people without family locally, and entire families who don’t have enough room in their home have attended in the past.  Everyone  is welcomed to dinner and every year new friendships are made.

Following dinner we'll be playing some music  – so musicians bring your voices and instruments.  For those of you who don’t sing, just sit back and enjoy the music and have another piece of pie.
